CEDA hosts major continental developmental finance meet
Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency ( CEDA) in collaboration with Bank of Industry is hosting the 2022 Association of African Development and Finance Institutions ( AADFI) CEO’s Forum in Botswana.
The forum started on Wednesday and will end today ( Friday), according to a statement, The CEO’s Forum draws participants from the Association of African Development Finance Institutions ( AADFI) and they consist mainly of CEOs, high ranking officials from member institutions of the above association and Government officials. In the past, the Agency has hosted the World Federation of Development Financial Institutions, bringing together CEOs from more than 80 countries. The Conference is aimed at developing closer working relationships among DFIs in Africa, Latin America, and Asia and the Pacific, to share and learn best practices in development financing operations, develop networks for cross- border financing and investment promotion by DFIs in the respective continents.
The Agency believes that hosting the 2022 AADFI CEO’s Forum will further provide opportunity for Botswana officials and management to interact with their counterparts in the member organisations of AADFI which is undoubtedly invaluable to not only infuse knowledge but to share experiences to the benefit of both CEDA and member organisations who will be in attendance.
The official opening of the AADFI CEO’s Forum was done by Minister Entrepreneurship, Karabo Gare.
