Kwando River, Namibia

Today you’ll drive on a long, straight tar road through the Caprivi to the town of Kongola. Once there, turn south and follow the tar road along the course of the Kwando River. This river is smaller than the Okavango, but it also has scenic places to stay and lots of game to see. Like me, you might fall in love with the Kwando and decide to stay a day or three.

The Zambezi is one of the bestknown rivers in Africa, but people forget that it also flows through Namibia.
