AD­VEN­TURE ITIN­ER­ARY DAY 1

We’ll meet in the town of Letl­hakane and travel to mag­i­cal Kubu Is­land on the Mak­gadik­gadi Pans. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: baob­abs cling­ing to gran­ite boul­ders and the pans rolling away to the hori­zon.

DAY 2

Sun­rise at Kubu is what pho­tog­ra­phers dream about. With fresh cof­fee and cam­eras in hand, we’ll hunt for the per­fect photo. Af­ter break­fast we’ll drive to­wards Maun, where we’ll stay next to the Boteti River for two nights.

DAY 3

To­day you’ll have the op­por­tu­nity to take a scenic flight over the Oka­vango Delta (op­tional, ex­tra cost) or do an­other ac­tiv­ity in Maun. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: the Delta and its wildlife, Maun and its peo­ple.

DAY 4

From Maun we travel to Tsodilo Hills, a fa­mous rock art site. Your camp will al­ready be set up and cof­fee will be boil­ing on the camp­fire. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: Tsodilo Hills at sun­set.

DAY 5

Af­ter break­fast we’ll visit the mu­seum at Tsodilo Hills and do a short hike to see some rock art. Af­ter­wards, we’ll en­ter Namibia and travel to Ngepi Camp on the banks of the Oka­vango River. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: rock art, birdlife.

DAY 6

Go on a game drive in Ma­hango Game Re­serve and en­joy a pic­nic un­der the trees for lunch. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: sable and roan an­te­lope, ele­phants and hun­dreds of bird species.

DAY 7

To­day we’ll take it easy. You can sleep late, visit Ma­hango again un­der your own steam or drive to the Buf­falo sec­tor of the

Bwab­wata Na­tional Park for some in­ter­est­ing mil­i­tary his­tory and big game. In the late af­ter­noon we’ll do a sun­set cruise on the Oka­vango. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: army base ru­ins, game, birds, sun­set on the Oka­vango.

DAY 8

We’ll pack up camp and drive through the Zam­bezi Re­gion (Caprivi Strip) back into Botswana. Our fi­nal camp will be near Kasane, where we’ll stay for the three nights.

DAY 9

Af­ter break­fast we’ll do a day trip to Vic­to­ria Falls in Zim­babwe where you can do a he­li­copter flip over the wa­ter­fall (op­tional, ex­tra cost) or any of the other ac­tiv­i­ties to get your adren­a­line pump­ing. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: Vic Falls, your part­ner bungee-jump­ing from the rail­way bridge…

DAY 10

To­day we’ll ex­plore Chobe Na­tional Park, first on land dur­ing a three-hour game drive, then on wa­ter dur­ing a sun­set cruise on the river. Photo op­por­tu­ni­ties: an­i­mals ga­lore and a sun­set you’ll never for­get.

DAY 11

Af­ter break­fast we’ll say our good­byes and head home.
