CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

The camps in Chobe are far apart. It’s a good idea to spend more than one night at each camp to explore this national park properly.

SAVUTI Savuti Public Camp

Savuti is run by the SKL Group. Camping costs R250 per adult; R125 per child aged 8 – 17; R60 per child aged 5 – 7; free for children under 5. There are 14 stands, each with a tap and braai facilities. The ablution block is built like a fort to keep the elephants away from the water. LINYANTI Linyanti Public Camp

Only those who really love the wilderness will ever make the trek there. Linyanti is also run by the SKL Group. This Kwalate Safari campsite has 10 stands, each accommodating a maximum of eight people and three vehicles. You look out over the Chobe floodplain.
