Chobe expects loss

-

Hospitality and tourism giant, Chobe Holdings, has warned shareholders to expect a loss of as much as P47.3 million when it unveils its results for the halfyear ended August 30, 2020. While directors did not state the reasons behind the expected loss in their cautionary this week, the group previously bemoaned the impact of COVID-19 on its business. The country’s tourism sector has been hardest hit by the pandemic, due to closed borders and cancellations. Chobe is due to announce its half-year results before October 1.
