Thuso Molekane (Serowe) If this position was not specifically for locals I will say Mike Sithole because he has proved it before. He knows how to build an effective team, he can change mud and waste into gold. He has done exceptionally well in motivating the players before. Other than that I will go with Stanley Tshosane.

His experience and skills took us to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations finals. Experience speaks louder than words, that is why he is the only local coach close to my heart. Mind you our national team problems are not with the players but people at the offices. They work for their stomach.

Their interests come first before they even think about the national team’s. Before looking for a good local coach let’s overhaul the whole office. Tshenolo Mogotsi (Kanye) Mogomotsi Mpote is the best looking at his curriculum vitae, he deserves this position.

I am talking numbers and facts, it’s in black and white. He has won various cups. Players love him because he treats them well, he is a father to them. He knows Botswana’s football dynamics, he played and coached here what more do we want.

To me, this is the best candidate. Bakang Motshegetsi (Tsetsebjwe) I put forward the names of Mogomotsi Mpote assisted by Daniel ‘Chico Dance’ Nare. It’s a match made in heaven, let them choose these two. Mpote knows our players better than any other local coach. He is very good at planning and organising his players. His tactics and techniques are world-class.

He proved before; look what he has done with Orapa United, he transformed the team a lot. Tshepo Gonkgang (Moshupa) Why not Mogomotsi Mpote? He has done great things before in our last COSAFA Cup. There is no need to beat about the bush while there is a glittering diamond waiting for the perfect hands to utilise it.

He is a parent to the players, his good management brought the results to every team he handled. He is good at monitoring players and he knows how to give constructive feedback to the players. I will prefer Letang Rasta Kgengwenyane to assist him, I am sure that their combination can make us proud. They have the same style of play and good eye in identifying players’ abilities.
