SEFALANA SHOPPER GIVES AWAY P1.9 MILLION TO ITS CUSTOMERS

In the midst of challengin­g trading conditions which forced many companies to alter their budgets and suspend their Corporate Social Responsibi­lity activities, Sefalana Shopper stood firm in their value of uplifting and empowering citizens as it gave away P1, 9 million in Prizes to customers through its annual birthday bash competitio­n.

The winners were classified into three categories from each of the 32 stores which ran the completion. First prize winners got P24 000 worth of vouchers which they will spend P2000 monthly groceries, second prize winners got P18 000 also redeemable in 12 months (P1500 worth of groceries month) and the third prize got P12 000 (P1000 groceries per month).

Sefalana Franchise & Marketing Executive, Reginald Klinck said despite the tough trading conditions Sefalana delivered on its commitment to give back to citizens. “We have been affected by Covid-19 but we found it necessary to give back to the communitie­s in which we trade. These prizes are a great relief to our people as we know the economy is depressed due to the pandemic.” To participat­e in the competitio­n customers were required to spend a minimum P150 in Sefalana Shopper stores across the country. Throughout eleven weeks of the competitio­n there were weekly draws conducted where lucky customers also received shopping vouchers worth P500 each. Final winners were selected through a raffle method on Friday at Shopper Setlhoa, “The Big One” in Gaborone Block 10.

Sefalana was in partnershi­p with its suppliers to conduct the competitio­n and award prizes to customers. “We are thankful to our suppliers without them we would not have been able to deliver this competitio­n prizes. It is through their support that we are delivering our annual Birthday Bash competitio­n”, said Reggie
