- NNASARETHA KGAMANYANE Correspondent

Kingstar and DJ Zynne will host the first ever out door session dubbed The Chill-out Sunday on April 17, 2022 at Raby Farms along Paje road. In an interview with Arts & Culture, DJ Zynne, said the main objective of the event was to get Serowe people together in a more chilled outdoor event.

He explained that the event was ideal for the whole family including children since the event starts at 10am in the morning.

He explained that they only have events during holidays, mostly independence and festive season. “We saw it vital to have this event monthly because they do not have any recreational places, no night clubs, there are no leisure places here where families can go out and enjoy their time together away from home.

The reason why we brought Farming Meets Music and Fashion is because we wanted to bring something that has never been done by anyone before. We realised that nowadays most people like this farming attire (dikaki),” he said.

Real name Godiraone Setlhare, DJ Zynne added that there will be several activities happening on the day of the event including swimming, free face painting to the first 50 children, water slides and jumping castle will be provided for children.

He also stated that they will be having a couple of performances from local artists and DJs in the likes of MMP Family and a well known dance group from Serowe called Khonga Roots.

The DJs for the day include DJ Khenzo known as The Scratch Master, DJ Kingnice, DJ Modric from Yarona FM, DJ Zynne, DJ Swaps among others. The hosts includes MC Theo and MC Mtizah.

Tickets are available at all Webtickets outlets including Spar Supermarkets countrywide.

They will be sold at P70 early bird, P120 double (limited), P30 children and P100 at the gate. Cooler boxes will be charged P20 all day. Tickets will be sold from March 1, 2022.
