Mascom expands network

The country’s largest mobile phone operator, Mascom, is expanding its 4G network in various locations across the country, starting with the Southern Region. The upgrade will bring enhancement of the network where there may have been issues of capacity and better service for customers to improve their user experience, the group’s head of communications, Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego said. Speaking at a recent launch at the Sesung kgotla, she said it was important that Mascom moves with the speed of the ever-changing technology in the world and take its customers with it on the innovative future-driven journey. Lebotse-Sebego said at each of the launches for the network expansion, Mascom would bring its Kitsong Centre to work with the community. The group will also ensure that it identifies a local service point, who will continue to serve the community with Mascom services beyond the launch ceremony.
