Waka waka states
The states travelling by foot are not getting anywhere very fast. Those in this group have some of the highest levels of poverty and lowest access to electricity and the internet. The UN estimates that 1.7 million people have been displaced by Boko Haram and the government’s fightback in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. With a combined unemployment and underemployment rate of 62.4% in 2017, Jigawa State is the worst place in the country to be looking for a job.
