- BY SUN REPORTER

Alfred Kavezedi, who goes by the stage name Mr. Allie, will release his album end of October. He said he had initially planned to release the album earlier this year but decided to shelf it due to the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic. He expressed hope that the album would bring healing, hope, faith revival and inspiration to the human race.

Some of the songs in the album include I found a man, I’ve got joy, Ee ka dumela, Erike omujame (My Helper) and Kgang e e batla wena, among others. He said the project was recorded at Hall of Fame studio in association with South Hub Records. “I worked with Sthathiso Aaron Emmanuel Tashinga Sherpard, as production assistant,” he added. He encouraged music lovers to support him and his God given talent. “I believe that I am called to serve my community and God has given me talents that will help change their lives. I must say that they will be blessed above all by Kengwana wa bone ke thoka thotoetso ya bone and their life will change in the process,” he said. He is confident that now is the time for him to shine and God has ordained this project. “I believe that my time has come to reach more people through music. Hopefully people will support me and will help create one of the gospel legends of this nation,” he said.

The singer, producer, sound engineer, author, mentor, life coach and proud servant of God, started singing in church as a teenager. He said that he got serious with his talent when he was part of the church worship team. “My interest in music grew and I had the opportunity to study for a music related course,” he said.
