KULENYANE DROPS MOGATSE KB
Encourages lovers to compliment and celebrate their partners
Kulenyane of Culture Spears’ fame, recently released a single dubbed, ‘Mogatse KB.’ The song is aimed at embracing love and particularly complimenting significant partners, he told Vibe. Kulenyane explained that some people fail to appreciate and celebrate their partners and that is what sparked him to come up with this song. “Some people hardly compliment their partners. This song urges people to recognise their partners and note that it is very important to let people know how good they are. Nothing is sweeter than appreciating a partner, as it uplifts them and boosts their confidence.”
The song was Produced by PJ and recorded at Sound Space Studio. Public relations officer at Culture Spears, Lentswe Mogwe, said that the single is a gate-away song towards their next album. “We want to keep our fans busy through this single song, while we prepare for the next album to be released soon,” he said. He further noted that most love relationships have lost value these days, so they wanted to revive that amazing spirit of love through this single. “This is a love song, that specifically speaks about good deeds portrayed by a lover and it also shuns friends that can degrade the meaning of a good relationship,” he said. ‘
Mogatse KB’ loosely translates to KB’s lover in English, and it describes this lover to be sweet, kind and humble to a point that people also like her back because of her gentleness. However, another verse of the song therefore warns a friend who admires KB’s partner and sheds light that other friends are toxic to relationships as they don’t want to see couples happy. It emphasises that friends should be each other’s keeper and help build healthy relationships than envying one another’s partner.
The music video to this song is expected to be shoot during this winter season.
