Flamex flexes muscle on digital marketing

- BY IRENE SHONE

Flamex Empire is an established company aimed at developing and meeting the needs of digital marketing on a wider spectrum in the country.

Owners of the company, Oagile Flex Moemi and Katlego Flame Toister tell Business Trends that shortage of jobs and their passion for what they have studied at school, inspired the formation of the company. On the other hand, they have observed that there is lack of professionalism in this field, and so they wanted to be exemplary in the field. They offer digital marketing and advertising, graphic design, branding, printing, photography and cinematography, coffee cup designs, clothing and different themed events.

Their target market is focused on everyone who owns a smartphone, business owners, event sessions as well as offer gift ideas for individuals, corporates and the government. Among other businesses, they have done branding for BoMRA, Mascom, BLLHWU Burial Society, Suit King, Tersara and Samoxa ginger ale, to mention a few.

Flamex Empire registered in 2016 but started to operate fully in 2018, and they share that their clientele has been supportive to date. Moemi is of the view that professionalism is a requirement for any business, and he believes that this has enabled their clients to keep in touch as well as recommend their services. He adds that a business idea has to be fulfilled by passion in order to deliver quality work. “We were both motivated by our school background. What we are offering now is a reflection of what we studied from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology,” shares the duo. Moemi has studied a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Commerce, while his partner, Toister completed a multimedia course which is also a wing in their business. They started displaying their work in Kumakwane where they are based and also deliver in the Greater Gaborone area, due to Covid-19 movement restrictions. Moemi tells
