KABELO ERIC BRINGS COMFORT OVER COVID19 LOSSES THROUGH SONG

Award-winning gospel musician, Kabelo Eric, recently released the video to his latest song, Sad to say Goodbye. It is a dedication song to bring comfort during the difficult Covid19 times.

Eric said he had noticed that most people are devastated during the Covid-19 era due to the loss of their loved ones. He said he therefore composed this video to comfort people and remind them that they should remain strong in the midst of pain. “This is a video of hope, faith and revival to all the heart-broken people out there. I just wanted to encourage people to trust in the lord, although we are losing our friends and family members because hope is the only light we are left with,” he said. He added that whether people lose their lives to Covid19 or any other life-threatenin­g factors, the fact that the world is battling a pandemic makes people to despair. “There have been many social ills that were exposed during this era, to a point that some deaths result from these excruciati­ng instances. This has brought fear to a lot of people and for a fact people’s mental health is also challenged as a result,” he said. He expressed hope that his video would instil a sense of hope to those feel broken and defeated. “I am hopeful that the music video conveys the right message of healing, comfort and revive the spirit of hope so that people continue to have faith in God. I urge people to always trust in God throughout all these heart harrowing unfolding events.”

Eric said the feedback to the video has been positive so far, and some fans have told him that the song brings them a ray of hope. The video is currently playing on Spotify Apple Music and Deezer. He said the video would also premier on national television broadcaste­r BTV.
