ARMED ROBBER KILLED BY POLICE LEAVES COLLEAGUES SHOCKED!

-

It turns out that one of the armed robbers who were killed in Phase 2 and was buried in on Saturday was an employee in good standing at some scrapyard where he was a security guard. At the funeral on Saturday, those who worked with him shared the story of their shock at the office when they learnt that he was one of those who were killed as they never imagined their colleague being involved in money heists. Some of the former colleagues there speaking on the sidelines in hushed tones told of how their company only chose to contribute some money towards his funeral but that no one from the company was willing to speak about the deceased because they realized they did not really know who he was.

Gatwe those who were asked to speak under ‘MOEMEDI KWA TIRONG’ declined to do so wondering what they would say when they had just learnt about the true character of their colleague. And indeed no one came up to speak when it was their turn.

In fact, they shared that the same company had recently been robbed of around P80 000 and that on the day of the robbery, the gentleman had been absent from work on leave, and only came back two days later where they then shared with him how the robbery had happened.

Gatwe now the company employees are wondering if the robbery was not an inside job after learning of the tragedy that befell their colleague – a man they said was a gentle soul at work and never could be associated with any evil. And so this matter also showed that unemployment was unfairly blamed for the spate of robberies. We gather that one of the robbers had also been working at a bank.
