Mangolo dreams to play abroad

-

Security Systems leftback, Benson Mangolo has been incredibly difficult to breakdown and has instantly solved his team’s defensive frailties. Now the player has a dream to be even better and create interest abroad.

With a lot of flare and showboating to his game, Mangolo has turned to be a fan favorite and he admits that he plays his football well and goes all out to enjoy and have fun.

“I go into the pitch to enjoy my game and I don’t often get frustrated because I will be enjoying myself that way, it’s easy to bring out the best in you,” he said.

Monitoring his movements and positioning has been a very pivotal component of his game, as he has balanced through overlapping and crossing the ball into the box and tracking back to add numbers into his team’s defense.

“At the national junior teams, I was a winger and I was converted to a left back, I have been guided to make

timely movements and I think I have really improved and the coach keeps on helping me improve.”

It’s every player’s dream to play abroad, I have worked hard and you never know who is watching you so I keep on working hard and trying to stay consistent; every game I give it my all because I want to play abroad, and as long as I am in a different league I will be happy.”

Mangolo is also confident

that he will be called up again to the national team due to his consistent performance.

On the other hand, his Coach, Kaelo ‘Wire’ Kaelo had this to say:

“He is a fantastic player, it’s good that he is playing for our team and he is a player who takes advice from the coaches. If he continues like that he will improve as a player, he is developing his emotional intelligence side as well.”
