act which they argued was no intention to ignore court orders. However, she lost the appeal in August.

She then made partial submissions in September because she was pressed for time. She explained that she was put on bed rest for 18 days shortly after the court of appeal judgement.

The sick leave made it hard for her to compile all that was needed and when she submitted in September, she had indicated that there would be supplementary submissions, which she made in October 2021.

After her submissions were deemed as shallow by the Master of the High Court, Mokgethi then made a third submission which was delivered to the Master on the 23rd of December 2021.

“Upon making an attempt to serve the same documents at Armstrongs Attorneys, it was discovered that the said Attorney’s offices were closed presumably for the Christmas Holidays.

On the 17th January 2022, the third submission was served to Armstrongs,” reads Mokgethi’s affidavit. She further explained that she has now submitted all that was needed from her and there was no case, adding that the Master confirmed receipt of her account in compliance with the court on the 11th of January 2022. She added that she has never willfully or intended to disobey court orders.

On the other hand, Masenya‘s lawyers are still not happy and believe that Mokgethi still needs to account fully, they believe she still has more to answer.

“I am quite confident that all information has been provided. There is no other additional information that I can provide beyond the account I have given,” Mokgethi said.

The high court is expected to make a decision on the matter in August this year.
