Progressive Institute has announced that the annual career transformative event, the 5th Career Elevation Summit has been slated for next month, June.

The organisers said the hybrid event will combine in-person and virtual online aspects, as the summit offers a platform to progressive thinkers to converge, dialogue and build purposeful consensus.

“It is the ultimate way to network and connect in the online and offline ecosystems,” said Chief Executive Officer of Progressive Institute, Mmoloki Mmolotsi.

This year’s event will be held under the banner: ‘Reset. Readjust. Restart: Mind-set Change for Botswana’s New Agenda Priorities’, the theme is aligned to President Mokgweetsi Masisi’s reset agenda, which is expected to transform both government and private sector.

Mmolotsi believes the success of the economy depends on continuous search for the right formula and configuration of minds and models that will challenge current thinking from which will evolve smart business and career ideas that will transform individuals, families, communities and the nation.

“With the COVID-19 pandemic receding, it is now time for all economic players, thought leaders, innovative entrepreneurs, and creatives to reset the agenda for personal and business transformation,” said Mmolotsi.

He implored that the nation should readjust to the 4th industrial revolution mindset anchored on the digital economy and restart the formula for economic change and development.

“It starts from the individual mind developing and embracing the: Can Do Attitude,” said Mmolotsi.

He said the Summit seeks to dissect into granular form the various topics that collectively inform decision making on matters of entrepreneurship, leadership, creative entrepreneurship, economic emancipation, simplifying lives through the digital economy and empowerment of Batswana.
