TERTIARY FINANCING POLICY IN OFFING

The Ministry of Education and Skills Development is undertaking consultations to create a tertiary education financing policy. The consultations will review the grant loan scheme, together with its components such as the top achiever programme. For the past five years, government has spent an average of about P2.5 billion annually to cater for both tuition and students’ living allowances.
