DISBELIEF AS PARKS TAFA ‘BETRAYS’ COURSECOOL

There was some bit of drama and tantrums days leading to the elective national congress of the Botswana Democratic Party in Tsabong but not many could have guessed that Parks Tafa would let the cat out of the bag on his bosom buddy Ian. With reports that while addressing some delegates at the Congress he made mention of what CourseCool has repeatedly denied, many on social media have been expressing shock that Tafa could betray Ian in that fashion. At a previous BDP engagement in July, President Masisi revealed that Ian had wanted him to elevate his brother to the position of Vice President and Party Chairman, a claim vehemently denied by Ian through a serialized rebuttal of numerous instalments that were just too long and tedious to read. Hardly a month after that, Parks, a man believed to be very close to Ian, who has also been seen to be always on Ian’s side through thick and thin, comes out to also say Ian sent him to beg President Masisi to make Tshekedi Vice President. Rememeber President Masisi also made mention of Parks being sent to him last time, and people had waited to see if Parks would deny it. He never did despite Ian saying the president was lying. Instead he comes out to confirm the president was not lying. Very interesting twist, and everyone who has known the relationship of the two men, Parks and Ian, has been expressing shock since.
