Voguish Hair & Beauty Bar set for wedding season

- BY IRENE SHONE

Voguish Hair and Beauty Bar continues to raise the bar, within the makeup and beauty industry.

It is not just about having makeup on fleek, but taking time to develop a skill and then apply. Owner of Voguish Hair and Beauty, Kagiso Mokgware says makeup radiates well on a thoroughly cleansed skin. She does not encourage applying makeup only without cleansing facial skin, at least once in a while. This is what she encourages most of her clients, and her work speaks volumes regarding this. She tells Vibe that once the skin looks dull, makeup does not come out to look as lovely. “Makeup might be a beauty enhancer, just on the outside, but it is also important to ensure that the skin is healthy and clean before depending on makeup, “she explains. She shares that, exfoliating is very necessary for people who like makeup, and once in a while they should visit beauty spas for unclogging pores, removing excess oils and fix any other problem the skin might have. She believes more in elegance and says that, for her to achieve good-looking makeup, she depends on good quality products. She has also mastered the skill of eyebrows and says that her other secret is that, she observes one’s facial shape, skin tone and complexion before doing her magic. She also emphasizes that, good-looking hair also compliments makeup. The Gaborone based makeup artist says that she is excited about this new season as she looks forward to adorning new brides. “Spring season is here, and it is one of the seasons that I embrace a lot as I get to express myself a lot on bridal makeup,” she says noting that bridal makeup is always outstanding and expressive. She is also happy to share with Vibe that, she has already done makeup on South Africa stars like DJ Lamiez and Boity Thulo. She reiterates that Voguish Beauty Bar is all about Flawless make up, Make up tips, Celebrity beats, and definitely Modern face glam. “I am about international standards and wish to keep a smile on my clients all the time, “says Mokgware.
