Kanye granny still missing 24 days on
It has been 24 days since 71-year-old Baitshepi Phirinyane of Kanye went missing.
She was last seen on the 14th of August 2022 at Salvation House Church where she had gone to worship. After church, she was nowhere to be seen.
Her children, the police, and church members have looked for her all over the
Ngwaketse area, and traversed the thick bushes that surround Kanye but it is like Phirinyane has mysteriously disappeared from the face of the earth.
At one point, it was promising when her shoe tracks were spotted around Mmankgodumo dam and Moshaneng village but they have since disappeared.
With no leads to follow, the search party is basically clutching at straws but hoping for the best.
Her son Goitsemang Edward Phirinyane said there is no day that passes by without the family going out to search for his mother.
They are tired but giving up is not an option. They are emotionally drained. The pain of returning home every day to sleep, while Phirinyane is somewhere out there tortures them.
They do not know what to think or expect. All they
want is to find her.
“We are appealing to members of the public to help us locate her, please help us with anything that could lead us to our mother,” he pleaded.
