BOTSWANA HOSTS U19 WOMEN’S T20 QUALIFIER

Botswana Cricket Association is currently hosting the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers. This is the first ever U19 Women’s World Cup and local players are competing in the tournament which started on 3rd until 12 September 2022 at the Botswana Cricket Association oval. Spectators are welcome with no entry fee. The BCA advises spectators to wear their masks in order to keep everyone safe.

SEETSO IN CAIRO

Confederation of African Tennis

(CAT) in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), have invited Denzel Seetso to join the GSDF/ITF/CAT 17 and Under 17 Team in Cairo, Egypt. The team, composed of 4 Boys and 4 Girls from Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Zimbabwe and Botswana, will participate in a series of ITF Junior tournaments in Egypt and a Training Camp Team from the 1st to the 23rd September 2022. The GSDF/ITF/CAT 17 and Under 17 Team is financed by Grand Slam Development Fund (GSDF). The team arrived on 1st September 2022 and will depart from Cairo on 24 September 2022.
