POTHOLE PATCHING PROJECT ON
The P80 000 pothole patching project along the Omaweneno-Tsabong road has started with five companies already on site. The project is part of the greater plan of resealing and road marking Omaweneno-Tsabong road which was scheduled to be implemented during the 2021/2022 financial year at a total approved budget of P32.5 million. The project includes pothole patching, treatment by slurry and resealing of 37km road stretch, The works are scheduled to be completed within 12 months. Other roads earmarked for developments were Werda/Makopong, Tsabong/ Middlepits, Tsabong/McCarthy’s Rust, which would be resealed and marked, while the road between Mmathethe, Bray and Werda would be constructed from scratch and the Kang/Hukuntsi would be fog sprayed and marked.
