BNSC CLARIFY STADIUM DEBACLE
The Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) this week addressed the National Stadium debacle that recently occurred ahead of a preliminary CAF Champions league game.
“It is unfortunate that the stadium availability issue ended in the public domain before negotiations with our stakeholders, Gaborone United and Hocia Ministries were concluded. The outcome of our negotiations was that the church would vacate the Stadium midnight before the start of the game to allow for the necessary pre-match preparations and indeed this has been achieved as planned,” part of the statement reads.
