Ditshupo joins Morupule Wanderers

Although expectation was that the team will give the player an opportunity to serve them in a management role, it was not the case. “They didn’t offer me any role at the club.”

Despite that, Ditshupo believes that he still has plenty to offer at 37 years.

“Here in Morupule, the expectation is different because first of all, we have to change the mindset of the players and set our goals. Everything has to change for us to be a better team than last season.”

Quizzed on when he will hang his boots, the tireless midfielder said he will let his body decide as currently he doesn’t think his body can’t take it anymore and he is full of life; however, he says he has life after football all figured out.

“Honestly, you will never know when to retire so I have been making ends meet through my skills in refrigeration and air conditioning. I’m a qualified refrigeration technician. I am here in Palapye and I will soon start the process of developing sports stars of tomorrow.”

The Lechana born player has also been celebrated for his humanitarian acts as he has built a clinic in his home village. “The clinic is almost done, we are doing the plastering and we will be left with paint only.”
