Entrepreneur inspires BUIST graduates
The Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) 7th graduation ceremony saw 298 celebrating their achievements at undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Jacob, urged graduates to believe in themselves saying this is the most important attribute required to lead productive lives. The ceremony was held under the theme, ‘Building a university of industries through a well-rounded ecosystem for economic transformation and innovative entrepreneurship.’ Jacob explained that before he struck gold with the Bulb World he started other business ventures which failed along the way. Totolo said that the institution has come a long way from its humble beginnings in Oodi. He explained that BUIST has embraced innovative entrepreneurship as part of its core mandate. Totolo said that they have adopted this to cultivate inclusive and sustainable development in the nation.
