WHY DON’T PEOPLE HEAR MORE ABOUT IT?

I don’t think people don’t hear about it, but people tend to follow the latest trends. I should be honest though, we are now moving into a decade were people are more “woke” and they are seeking for the alternativ­e remedies to anxiety, depression and stress. So there is a steady growth of people moving into alternativ­e therapies such reflexolog­y.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR JOB?

I get to see some of my clients reach an amazing level of self-consciousn­ess and realizatio­n of their body’s needs and wants. That is truly my favorite aspect of my job.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS FIELD?

Creating awareness is the greatest of them all. Few people know the difference between reflexolog­y and ordinary foot massage. The other challenge is that there are many quacks masqueradi­ng as reflexolog­ists, and this dents our reputation.

WHEN YOU HAVE A DAY OFF FROM YOUR BUSINESS,

I love spending time with my child and partner, so a day off is spent indoors with binge movie watching with everyone one lying on their favorite couch(going in and out of sleep) which really helps my body to rest and takes my mind off work. I am such a fan of sleep therapy.
