She said the only way to have it rightly done is being passionate ang using quality products. Her nail art work speaks volumes on her behalf, and she told Vibe that she is satisfied about the feedback that she receives on a daily basis.
When she joined the beauty industry four years ago, her mission was to make the mark, and she is glad that people embrace her nail art work. Nkinogang also does makeup, and is therefore always ready to deliver for weddings, showers and party sessions, by crowning women with her gifted hands.
The self-made beautician noted that beauty isn’t just about appearance, but character too. “To me, beauty isnt just about pleasing the sight. It goes hand in hand with one’s personality. It’s about how one incorporates their personality with a work of art,be it nail design or how they wear make up,” she said. She reiterated that she ventured into the field to show off her art craft of beauty, which she believes is her talent. Her beauty studio is located in Maun old mall next to Cut Price, and she dreams of expanding to surrounding places in the future, when funds allow. “I have built a very good reputation with my clients, so far and some come from outside Maun for my services,” she said. She further noted that her nail art stays winning because she has mastered the skill of playing around with colours. “I really love my work that I can even dream about it, then the next morning do exactly what i saw in my dream.” She added that limitation of resources does not hinder her from producing quality work as she tries by all means not to run out of products. “Sourcing products in our area is a challenge as we have to buy everything from Gaborone, “she said. Nkinogang noted that she also dreams of one day owning a very big spa.
