The debate about the newly launched FNB logo continues to rage on to date, with some praising the transformation as modern and communicating while others, especially in South Africa, feel the bank lost the plot. Kana the bank replaced foreign-owned Barclays Bank in South Africa in the 1980s, after the latter was sold to some South African individuals and entities who then rebranded it as the country’s first national bank.
