Legendary Mapetla drops a single dubbed ‘Pelo’

Skhokho hit maker, Mapetla has recently released one banger love song, dubbed ‘Pelo’. As the chap believes so much in love, he tells Vibe that, he decided to spread love to his fans this season, through this song. “Pelo is a love song, meant to celebrate love. I wanted to spread some love to my fans through this song. I believe that love is a beautiful thing, and therefore had to express it through this Afro sound track,” he said.
Mapetla features Dato Seiko, on this song, which was produced by Cany Mckenzo and recorded at X3mix Records. The song is already enjoying airplay on different radio stations. Mapetla believes that this is one of the massive tracks he has ever released. “I went all out, and thought outside the box with this song because I did not want to bring just the ordinary music I always releases, but something better and mature,” he said. He added that he is headed into a new direction and style, as he plans on doing much more of live music or performances from now on. “We want to introduce more live performances because this is the time to give my fans lots of music, “he said.
Mapetla is currently working on the video for the song. “The video to this song is underway and it should be released sometime soon,” he said. He further said that his fans should expect more music from him before the end of the year. The time has come for me to give my fans more music, as I have been quietly working hard behind the scenes.”
