- BY LAME LUCAS

United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) has donated school shoes to needy students at Molefe Primary School in Kopong.

Kopong UCCSA branch representative, Ismael Mokonopi said the church has a responsibility to take care of God’s people, therefore they came up with the initiative to help students. They received information from the school through the Guidance and Counselling department that a total of 46 students needed shoes. The church donated 48 pairs of shoes to the school to be given to the students.

“This was just a start of our mission activities hence we plan to donate more pairs of shoes to Letsholo Primary School in Kopong during the first quarter of the year 2023,” Mokonopi said. Meanwhile, Molefe Primary School Guidance and Counselling department officer, Innocent Nyoni said he is pleased with the donation as this will make students happy as they will have proper shoes to wear to school. Nyoni appealed for further assistance with other essentials, as this will inspire students in their studies.
