VTM, Tshireletso separate
We are willing to help these young coaches to attain the required quali fications because they are extremely talented and have experience,” he added.
Tshireletso, highly rated by former Rollers’ Serbian tactician, Nikola Kavazovic, who led Mapalastina to their first ever appearance in the group stage of the Champions League, was chosen as the club’s assistant coach ahead of national team interim head coach, Mogomotsi Mpote.
He was deployed to the role of youth development at Rollers by Coach, Romain Folz, but VTM swiftly moved to offer him a deal to lead the club to First Division, a move that proved to be a master stroke.
“Yes, it is true, we amicably parted ways, it wasn’t an issue of
results; we recently extended the contract by a year until end of 2023 season but we both agreed to terminate by mutual consent.
I have learnt invaluable lessons at the club and achieved great things, and that is all I can say for now, VTM is a good project and I wish them well for the upcoming season,” Leutlwetse responded.
Close sources to the developments however report that, Tshireletso is one of the coaches who are currently awaiting their coaching certificates, after completing the BFA CAF B license course.
Further reports add that, the team had already written to Botswana Football Association (BFA) and the association’s Technical Director, Tshepo Mphukuthi had granted the team a waiver for Tshireletso to take charge of the technical dug-out.
