Songbird Oura recently released a new single dubbed ‘Pompela’ featuring Motlha.The duo has outdid themselves in releasing this Afro soul song.
Oura toldVibe that the song was just a reminder that local collaborations unearth the existing talent within the industry.“This song is a conversation between two lovers who whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ear. It embraces love and motivate people out there to know that, love is a beautiful thing than what the society, especially social media has come to make it seem like all love relationships are intoxicated,“she said.
Oura further said that she chose to collaborate with the legendary Motlha on this song, as she is impressed by hisTswana rich lyrical content and of course his beautiful voice. One catchy phrase on the song says “Peloyame ya go pompela”, meaning ‘my heart beats for you.’
The song was produced by Tribal Tiido and Justos, two weeks ago at Tribal Tiido Productions.
