UBLS PLANS TO ADVANCE SADC COMMUNITIES

The University of Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland Association (UBLS) recently held a fundraising dinner at Boipuso Hall. The UBLS Association is made up of former students, alumni, of the erstwhile University of Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and its successors the Universities in Botswana, Lesotho and Namibia. Formed in 2007, the objectives of the association are to advance progress and prosperity for the people of SADC; universal education; the reduction and elimination of poverty, unemployment and drug abuse, alcoholism; and combating the spread of HIV/Aids. The dinner was themed, ‘Living the Spirit of SADC; Building Community in the SADC post-Covid 19’.
