What they want to hear

-

Young people of Botswana are tired of the same old song, year in year out. With the coming State of the National Address by President Mokgweetsi Masisi on Monday, they couldn’t care less about what will come out of it.

They say they do not want to hear a thing about the ‘electric car’. But about meaningful

job creation, deteriorating education system, infrastructure development, citizen economic empowerment and effective ways to end corruption.

Youth say they want to be engaged in issues that affect them most. Gatwe some say, they would rather be pushing their hustles than take time to listen to the rhetoric.
