AUSC REGION 5 CALLS FOR FACILITY CARE
African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Chief Executive Officer, Charles Mutoya has extended a rallying call to the affiliate members of the federation to take care of their facilities to enhance sport development.
Mutoya said one of their objectives at Region 5 is to drive infrastructural developments and positively impact the economies of its members through sport tourism.
Speaking to Sun Sport, the head of the 10th edition of the games slated for Malawi next month, Mutoya underscored that, it is imperative for governments, private sector and all other relevant stakeholders to join forces and invest on maintenance of facilities as it is a costly exercise.
