The second edition of the Kgatleng Family Fun Day event will be held in Rasesa on December 3rd at Staywell Gardens.

Event organiser Marang Madisa tells Vibe that they expect nothing but an electrifying occasion, ahead of the festive season, as the event is aimed at bringing together families. “In April we held our first Kgatleng family fun day event which was a success. Both the elderly and the kids were catered for, something that is the main mandate of our event,” she said. She further told Vibe that she came up with this initiative to provide entertainment for the people living in the Kgatleng District. “The event is aimed at bringing families together, while having fun. It is also an opportunity for people to network, as we do not limit anyone from attending,” she said. There will also be several activities including; swimming, quad bikes and horse riding for children. Adults will be treated to a variety of amusing activities, including unlimited music by several DJs and artists, drinks, dikhwaere and a football match. Madisa has partnered with Gofaone Ezekiel and Ontlametse Tsheole to put together this fun activity. Madisa emphasizes that, they have engaged Max’s Bouncers, for security purposes. “We value our clients’ security and have this time around went all out to ensure that their safety is guaranteed,” she said.

Their line-up is decorated by both local and international artistes, to bring that sort of flavor to the event. “We will be hosting international artists and our very own local artists to expose their talent as they make the Kgatleng residents to tie their dancing shoes, and enjoy live performance,” she said. The international lineup of the event include; Sdala,Paige and DJ Ngwazi, while local musicians include; Baxon, FME djs, Ancestral Rituals, BJB, T.H.A.B.O, Bobo-Max, Hapex Guru and Boyca. They also have merchandise of T-shirts readily available. Madisa said that their intention is to have some funds of the event, distributed to the less privileged, and they welcome any form of support from individuals and companies. Tickets are sold at Puma Pilane, Engen Phaphane, Webtickets and any Spar shop.
