Mascom expands network coverage
Mascom Wireless has announced the first phase of celebrating network upgrades undertaken with various communities in their areas.
According to a statement, the upgrades are expected to be implemented in various locations across Botswana, starting with the Southern Region (Sesung, Mosi and GaSegwagwa).
“The upgrade will bring about the following improvements: availability of 4G technology in the areas, enhancement of the network where there may have been issues of capacity and better service for customers to improve their user experience,” said Mascom, a leading non-fixed telephony firm.
Speaking on the Network Expansion at the main kgotla in
Sesung, Mascom Head of Communications, Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego expressed how excited they were to now have extended 4G presence in the region and the importance of enhancing technology.
“It’s important that we move with the speed of the everchanging technology world and take our customers with us on this innovative future-driven journey. This endeavor is envisioned to ensure our offering is as agile as the times we’re in and that our customers have an easy access to fast and reliable connectivity in the length and breadth of the country.”
She further highlighted that customers in the area would also be able to enjoy all the promotions and amazing packages that Mascom has on offer. “Festive is upon us and we thought this is the right time to bring our current exciting Summer Offers to our people and communities so that they can connect seamlessly with their families throughout the holiday season. We are excited to be bringing this development to the smaller villages across Botswana.”
