TSHERE CHEERED AND JEERED FOR DIKOLOTI LEAKS

-

Trending this week is the audio that carries a phone call conversation between Mahalapye West MP David Tshere and Health Minister Dikoloti on the trending matter of drug shortages in hospitals. The audio that littered social media this week is reported to have been created through recording the phone call, by Honourable Tshere with the clear intent of passing the recording to the media, and for that many have praised and cheered him for being a true patriot who wanted the nation to have a feel of the minister’s attitude towards the crisis. What stands out in the audio is when Tshere asked the minster to go to Maun to explain the crisis and the minister said ene he ca’nt leave his constituency in Mmathethe/Molapowabojang to go and address the people of Maun. Many have attacked the minister for showing disregard for the responsibility he carries towards the entire country and no just his kgaolo. Although it has been many in the opposition block who are praising Tshere for a job well done, some activists from his political movement, Botswana Congress Party, have been bashing him for doing what they say they have always accused him of. Gatwe he was the one who always leaked critical information deemed confidential from BCP meetings to the leaders of the BNF/UDC. Ba re ba mo itse a ntse jalo. Others add that the MP ke moloi - gatwe he cannot call Dikoloti knowing he would be recording the conversation without the minister’s knowledge. One social media user even warned women to be vigilant when with him, saying he could be having recordings of everything they have shared and done with him. So as it is, Rre Tshere has as many cheerleaders as he has jeermongers for the trending recording.
