Southern Sun Elangeni and Maharani Lodge boast of a beautiful beach view, located just 656 feet from the sea shore, along Durban’s Golden Mile that overlooks the Indian Ocean.
The hotel counts as one of the tallest hotels I have been to. During my stay at this resort, I lodged on the 18th floor. I could clearly hear the waves from the ocean and this automatically reminded me of the coolest sounds from beauty Refocused, NEWF 2024 Congress. I had spas. The sounds of the waters BY IRENE are SHONE a perfect stay at Elangeni Hotel where the therapeutic and I really needed this for my conference was held. It was a special and soul and meditation. This little excursion unique experience for me, especially that was part of a trip to Durban for Africa it was my first encounter with the ocean.
I had the privilege to take a relatively two minutes walk to North Beach Durban, just to experience the feel of the ocean and the fun activities there. We had an opportunity to build sand dunes and play in the water waiting for the waves to sweep through our feet.
There is 734 rooms at Southern Sun Elangeni and Maharani Hotel. This excited me as a Lifestyle reporter because I have never been to such a classy, busy and yet bigger place like that one. The hotel offers three swimming pools and four restaurants serving a variety of dishes. My favourite time of the day was breakfast time, when I always descended from floor 18 to the second floor for my full English breakfast. I would always sit by the outdoor table right by the side pool so that I could enjoy the view of the ocean perfectly. My favourite moment was when the dovesCwould come directly to my plate and help themselves to my food. This family-friendly hotel also has a gym, spa facilities and room service. TPHoEpMuIlDarWEspEKotSsUNwithin the local area include Kingsmead Stadium, Durban ICC and Greyville Racecourse. Suncoast Casino is just 0.9 mi from the hotel, and uShaka Marine World is 1.9 mi away. Durban Botanical Gardens are 3.1 mi away and King Shaka International Airport is 19 mi away.
