Local PingPong takes on Gauteng
The Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) witnessed a mix of results at the Gauteng Open championships held over the weekend. There were some standout performances, with the young talent, Reneilwe Lekorwe stealing the spotlight while in the Veterans and Elite categories, Reatile Morapedi faced early elimination in the group stages.
Reneilwe Lekorwe made waves with an impressive showing across multiple categories. In the Doubles event, Lekorwe clinched a silver medal and certificate, showcasing his prowess on the table. In the U15 category, Lekorwe advanced to the quarter-finals, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star. Notably, in the U13 category, Lekorwe reached the semi-finals, earning a well-deserved bronze medal and certificate.
Reneilwe Lekorwe’s consistent success across various categories underscores his versatility and skill in table tennis.
