EASTER FESTIVAL PROMISES A GOOD TIME

The Rise Easter Gospel Music Festival promises nothing but a joyous time of gospel music. The show is themed, ‘An easter music affair,’ and is scheduled for this coming Easter Monday.

This is a special offering by KST Multimedia, and the live extravagan­za happens during a prestige time in the Christian calendar, Easter holiday. The Rise Gospel Show is considered a family show that seeks to provide entertainm­ent through gospel music. It will be held at Showcase Piazza at Molapo Crossing mall and the programme boasts of an array of Gospel artists and expression­ists who believe in the true meaning of Christ’s resurrecti­on.

The visionary behind The Rise Botswana Edition, Kgethang Konese shared that over the years, Gospel music has been a solid provider of relief for those whose lives have been affected by various hardships of life, and so they are excited about this healing event. “It is meant to celebrate and remember the indelible sacrifice Jesus made for a life meaningful to God and his purpose for our lives,” he said. He added that like the previous edition, this event is intentiona­l about reviving souls through the healing gospel music.

“Botswana shares an exciting passion for praise and worship and this installmen­t of the Rise has a lineup of exciting acts to be presented to an enthused audience of Gospel lovers,” he said. The lineup of the day includes; the legendary South African Dr Winnie Mashaba, Puleng March, Thapelo Molomo, Angela Moatshe, Rista, Nnunu Ramogotsi, Bafokeng Brothers and the vibrant Tsholofelo Church Choir. Konese added that while building up to the event, a myriad of activities and activation­s will be embarked upon. He emphasised that the show targets at giving people hope in life.
