Rural Klever set to launch merchandis­e

RURAL KLEVER brand is working around the clock to launch, with a celebratio­n filled with music, fashion and entreprene­urship strategies. The event aims at uplifting the youth and fostering a sense of possibilit­ies. This is the brain child of Kwaito Mental Klever, who has been in the music scene for sometime now.

He told Vibe that the launch will also celebrate the milestone of the Fashion brand.

“This Fashion brand exists inspire and empower the youth to think outside the box and utilise their talents.

Our goal is to expand the brand and make a positive impact on the fashion industry and society by creating employment opportunit­ies,” he said. RURAL KLEVER is a local brand that was establishe­d in 2021. The fashion brand specialise­s in clothing, foot wear, head gears and accessorie­s.

Kwaito Mental Klever is of the view that each musician must have their own merchandis­e as this could help grow them. He told Vibe that if a musician has their merchandis­e, fans easily notice them through their clothing.

He added that in Botswana, music alone is not enough to sustain artistes, which is why it is important for them to have related side businesses. This massive launch, he says is expected to take place towards the end of the year, but he has already started activation­s. Events of the day at the launch include; performanc­es from both establishe­d and upcoming artists, models and fashion designers who will be there to support the ‘Rural Klever’ brand. Kwaito Mental Klever believes in the local fashion. He told Vibe that he has seen brands like Berry Heart Creations and Lesedi Matlapeng among other local designers winning big internatio­nally. This he says has motivated him to look forward to also taking his brand to internatio­nal audiences one day.
