‘AFTER COLLEGE’ - DILEMMA OF EVERY GRADUATE

-

‘After College’ is an interesting book authored by Phenyo Caiphus, an Entrepreneur and a Physicist.

This book is a second instalment of the series to her recent book, ’After College trilogy’.

It was published on March 12, 2023 by El Caiphs Private Publishers in Francistown. This is the 38th book Caiphus, has published so far.

The book currently sells for P80 on El Caiphs Private Online Store. It is also available in hardcopy and ebook format.

According to Caiphus, the book is a follow up on its predecessor ‘After College season 1,’ which follows the lives of four young men after their graduation at school.

”It tackles real life issues of graduates who either make it in the corporate world or live to look for scarce jobs in Botswana,” shared Caiphus.

The book was set in Francistown, the second city of Botswana. It uses humor to completely appeal to the author’s style in many of his books. It is targeted to everyone who likes reading. “The book is meant for people of all ages,” he said, noting that in recent years, Botswana has seen a tremendous growth in the writing landscape which unearthed a lot of talent against a non-reading culture.

He is therefore confident that the title of the book is ideal and speaks to everyone as a lot of people are faced with especially the shortage of jobs challenge after their successful completion of their studies. He invests in research and shared that his books are based on realities of communities.

He plans for a grand book launch this October. His passion for writing books has pushed him to open a publishing company to encourage other authors to publish their work. The launch comes as a special event where he will officially launch other six books including the ‘After College’ series which will then be completed by the release of Season Three.

“I am also looking forward to collaborations with industry’s heavyweights of authors as a means to grow myself as an author,” he said.
