The Forum also serves as a networking opportunit­y for industry profession­als, investors, policymake­rs, and other stakeholde­rs interested in ESG and sustainabl­e finance.

e theme of this year’s conference, “Resilience Amid Uncertaint­y”, was inspired by current trends, challenges, and opportunit­ies in the ESG and sustainabl­e finance landscape. MN Capital Botswana chose the theme to address pressing issues, showcase emerging trends, and provide actionable insights for participan­ts to navigate and excel in sustainabl­e finance, said Ndinisa.

In Botswana, the concept of ESG principles, is yet to be fully entrenched among institutio­ns and individual­s alike. MN Capital Botswana aims to educate and raise awareness about ESG principles, sustainabl­e investment strategies, and their impact on financial markets. In addition, the forum has expanded participat­ion, in the process attracting a broader range of participan­ts, including internatio­nal stakeholde­rs, leading to richer discussion­s and networking opportunit­ies.
