TRANS ‘Adopt a school’ initiative launched

TRANS launched their ‘Adopt A School’ Initiative this week aimed at fostering positive change within the local educationa­l institutio­ns.

The project will run through 14 locations across Botswana. Head of Marketing at TRANS,

to enhance learning environmen­ts, supporting educationa­l initiative­s, and empowering students for a brighter future, as TRANS seeks to uplift schools and communitie­s alike. ey have targeted schools within the vicinity of their 16 stores.

e TRANS Adopt A School Initiative will be executed in three stages, including; donations, prize giving and exam care package. For donations, they will provide school essentials and TRANS-themed supplies to ensure students begin the academic year feeling supported and encouraged. TRANS Group Operations Director,

Shine Baby explained that they are guided by a simple yet profound mission, ‘to create a more progressiv­e and empowered Botswana for all’ as they embark on this journey. ey believe that investing in the future leaders of the country is key to achieving that mission.

“The TRANS Adopt A School Initiative aligns with our core values of community and empowermen­t. We believe in investing back to the communitie­s that have supported us over the years, and this initiative allows us to do just that,” he said.
