Cresta Completes Fumigation Exercise

Cresta Marakanelo Limited has completed a fumigation exercise for three of its properties, which were used as quarantine centres, Cresta Lodge, Botsalo and Marang. Applied chemistry experts led and guided the exercise using strict guidelines and exacting standards of safety and quality management for market-readiness. This comes against the backdrop of government efforts to balance containmen­t and economic recov the future despite the fear that has gripped the whole world. Recently, Cresta Lodge staff in Gaborone underwent COVID-19 testing under the supervisio­n of the Ministry of Health and Wellness where they all tested negative. The company believes the strict adherence to relevant health protocols has aided in safety. Even before the lockdown, Cresta had been adhering to all the safety measures as outlined by the Ministry of Health hotel chains to put sanitisers through having a medical doctor advise on all health protocols for safety and social distancing. Employees took other steps such as hand washing with soap and employing mobile antiseptic spray cannons on the exterior of the properties within the Cresta facilities.
