BSE, CSDB Suspend African Alliance

-

The public has been informed that with immediate effect (from May 22, 2020) the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Central Securities Depository Botswana (CSDB) have suspended African Alliance Botswana Securities from trading with any other brokerage business lows the latter’s request to the BSE that they be suspended as a matter of urgency. The BSE wishes to take this time to advise account holders that their holdings are intact and should they require the services of a broker they should approach any of the three BSE licensed brokers being Imara Securities, Motswedi Securities and Stockbrokers Botswana. Investors who have already placed orders and paid for shares upfront are advised to also follow the process of approaching the three BSE brokers to complete their transaction. The BSE remains available to assist at this time while due process is followed to address this matter.
