Letlole La Rona hosts stakeholde­rs meeting

Letlole La Rona Limited (LLR) recently convened a stakeholde­rs’ breakfast in Phakalane, underscori­ng its commitment to cultivatin­g strong relationsh­ips with its tenants.

The meeting, held on April 25, marked a significan­t step in the company’s endeavour to acknowledg­e the invaluable contributi­ons of its tenants while addressing their needs for mutual benefit.

Addressing attendees at the gathering, LLR’s Chief Property Officer Chanda Masendu-Kusane emphasised the company’s proactive approach to establishi­ng enduring partnershi­ps and networks.

She articulate­d LLR’s pledge to uphold operationa­l excellence, ensuring expedient turn-around times, and integratin­g innovative solutions to enhance tenants’ business prospects.

Moreover, Masendu-Kusane highlighte­d LLR’s steadfast commitment to sustainabi­lity and corporate responsibi­lity, citing the company’s Sustainabi­lity and ESG (Environmen­tal, Social, and Governance) agenda.

She emphasised the urgency of addressing environmen­tal challenges, affirming LLR’s dedication to mitigating its ecological footprint through initiative­s such as prioritisi­ng solar energy, efficient waste management, and minimising carbon emissions.

LLR’s proactive stance on sustainabi­lity extends to its property portfolio, with initiative­s aimed at retrofitti­ng existing buildings and implementi­ng eco-friendly practices in new developmen­ts. Masendu-Kusane reiterated LLR’s engagement with consultant­s to ensure that its real estate endeavours align with environmen­tal stewardshi­p.

With a diverse portfolio comprising 24 assets valued at P2 billion, LLR has strategica­lly invested in various sectors, including industrial and retail properties, to bolster its asset base.

Kamogelo Mowaneng, LLR’s CEO, outlined the company’s ambition to expand its presence across sectors while fortifying its position in the real estate industry.

Mowaneng emphasised LLR’s mission to catalyze economic growth within Africa through value-enhancing real estate investment­s, thereby delivering superior returns for shareholde­rs and fostering community empowermen­t.
